Dallas Attorney Charla Aldous Named One of Texas' Top 100 Trial Lawyers
Dallas litigator Charla Aldous has been invited to join The National Trial Lawyers, an organization composed of the nation's premier civil plaintiff and criminal defense trial lawyers.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) September 21, 2012 - Noted Dallas litigator Charla Aldous has been invited to join The National Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only professional organization composed of the premier civil plaintiff and criminal defense trial lawyers from across the country.
Membership in The National Trial Lawyers is limited to the top 100 trial attorneys in each state. Candidates are considered for membership based on superior qualifications, leadership, reputation, influence, and their stature and profile in the trial lawyer community.
The National Trial Lawyers' honor is only the most recent accolade for Ms. Aldous, founder of Dallas' Aldous Law Firm. In 2012, she was featured among the Top 10 attorneys in Texas and as one of the state's Top 50 female attorneys in the annual Texas Super Lawyers listing. She previously has been recognized as one of Texas' top five personal injury lawyers by Texas Lawyer newspaper, and one of "Ten Winning Lawyers in America" by The National Law Journal.
Ms. Aldous' landmark legal victory last year against the Episcopal School of Dallas was highlighted by Texas Lawyer newspaper as the second-largest negligence verdict in Texas during 2011. In one of the city's most highly-watched and contentious trials of the year, Ms. Aldous and Brent Walker represented the family of a teenage girl who was wrongly expelled from the school after administrators discovered that a teacher had involved her in a sexual relationship. The trial ended with a $9.3 million verdict against the school.
Mr. Walker was also named to The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40. Membership in the Top 40 under 40 is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those individuals who exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as a young lawyer under the age of 40.
Mr. Walker practices commercial litigation, personal injury and health care law at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition to being named to the Top 40 Under 40, he was previously named to the Texas Super Lawyers - Rising Stars list.
