As an artist, creator, shaman, and healer, founder Cyndey French will be performing a free ceremony to heal the rivers. She uses Spirit Medicine and her proprietary blend of healing modalities to access the energy required to send healing into the Deschutes River for all the flora and fauna touched by this river system.

Lower Deschutes River Healing Ceremony is set for Monday May 8 2017 from 1 to 2:30 pm at the Lower Deschutes River, Beavertail Campground, just 9 miles past Sherar Falls on the BLM service road.

This ceremony is the second in a series of "Healing the Waterways."

Cydney French is a long time practitioner of the Healing and Creative Arts. Cydney graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2004. She began her practice at Full Spectrum Health Center under the mentorship of Dr. Deborah Santomero, DC until she opened her private practice after the birth of her second daughter. A couple years into her massage practice, Cydney began studying with Jan Engels-Smith of Lightsong School of Shamanic Studies, following the curriculum over several years, working closely with Jan. Cydney has been practicing Shamanism for 6 years and Massage for 11 years.

In addition to being a light worker, Cydney has a thriving practice in the field of art, having graduated from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1998. Her creative and healing practices compliment one another and create a diverse well of inspiration that fuels her enthusiasm for both, as well as the incredible honor of raising two lovely daughters.
