The summit will take place between the 21‐23 May 2012 at the Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, UAE.

A report published last year by the Beirut‐based Arab Forum for Environment and Development (AFED) stated that 13 Arab countries are among the world's 19 most water‐scare nations, within five years almost all Arab countries will fall below the level of "severe water scarcity" at 500 cubic metres per person per year. According to the UN the world average is about 6,000 cubic metres per person per year.

management, oil and gas production is areas such as the Middle East and Central America will begin to decline causing catastrophic consequences not only for their countries but for the whole energy market.

This forum has already gathered key officials from NOC, IOC and Service providers that are ready to

Already the summit has confirmed key figures in support along with the World Water Council which includes speakers from Saudi Aramco, Shell International E&P, ExxonMobil and Schlumberger.
The summit will bring together both industries to work closer in collaboration on providing solutions, sustaining water and importantly demonstrating capital savings.
