cVidya Selected by TM Forum to Lead New External Data Monetization Work Group
Leading Industry Association Turns to cVidya's Domain Expertise for Second Year Running.
- (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2015 - cVidya, a leading provider of Big Data Analytics solutions for digital and communications service providers (CSPs), today announced that TM Forum has appointed Barak Alon, Business Analyst for Big Data Analytics solutions at cVidya, to lead its new External Monetization Standardization Work Group.
The appointment follows ongoing successful collaboration in which cVidya executives head TM Forum's Revenue Assurance Group.
"The aim of this work group is to produce industry-leading guidelines and best practices for operators' External Monetization activities," said Rebecca Sendel, Senior Director Customer Centricity Program at TM Forum. "With its extensive domain expertise and experience in supporting multiple use cases for External Data Monetization, cVidya was a natural choice to lead the work group."
With more than 900 member companies, TM Forum is the global industry association for digital business, connecting talented individuals, leading companies, and diverse ecosystems to accelerate its members' successful digital business transformation.. The new External Monetization Standardization Work Group will explore ways to help operators overcome the challenges inherent within this domain, including privacy issues, technical practices and business models. Group participants include Orange, China Mobile, Liberty Global, Ericsson, Net Cracker and Alcatel-Lucent, with additional companies expected to join.
