Cushman & Wakefield's Sean Brady to Address CoreNet Global NJ Data Center Event
Oct. 25 Presentation will take place at the Site of Telx's under-construction NJR3 Data Center.
- Bergen-Passaic, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 04, 2012 - Sean Brady, senior director of Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and co-founder of the Data Center Advisory Group, will present "New Jersey Data Center Market View and Forecast" on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 2 Peekay Drive in Clifton. The event is a presentation of CoreNet Global NJ, the New Jersey State Chapter of CoreNet Global, in cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield.
The presentation's site is adjacent to Telx's under-construction, 215,000-square-foot interconnection and data center. The new $200 million flagship data center, constructed by Mountain Development Corp. will, when completed, be one of 149 Uptime Institute Tier 3 Certified facilities in the world. Telx is a world leader in global interconnectivity, cloud enablement services and data center solutions.
"New Jersey, with its technology infrastructure and prime geographic location, has emerged as a national and world leader in data centers," said Brady. "Telx's newest facility is a prime example of ongoing data center growth in the state, and our presentation will include a look at current trends, future projections and the economic impact of data center development.
"For example, Telx's new Peekay facility will generate 250 contract jobs while building the site," he said.
