Cushman & Wakefield Inks 23,000-Sq.-Ft. Flex Lease for Indasa USA
Coated Abrasives Distributor Relocates to Fairfield, N.J, in Quality-of-Life Move.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2011 - Coated abrasives distributor Indasa USA, Inc. has leased 23,000 square feet of flex space at 23 Madison Road in Fairfield, announced commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. The company will relocate its headquarters to the property from nearby Passaic, N.J.
Stephen Elman and Robert Adams of Cushman & Wakefield's East Rutherford, N.J. office represented Indasa USA in negotiating the long-term lease. Mitch Roman and Jim Correll from American Properties served as brokers for the landlord, Richards and Robbins.
Indasa USA specializes in high-performance coated abrasives. Its new headquarters at 23 Madison Road includes warehouse/distribution space as well as its main office. The move to Fairfield marks a notable expansion for the company, according to Adams.
"Our client will move to its new address from an older building, where its offices were tucked away in the back of the property," Adams said. "Today's market and aggressive rents afford great opportunities for companies like Indasa USA that are looking to move to higher quality real estate."
Adams noted that the Richards and Robbins property provides a true corporate image and campus setting. "The quality of the building, the professional management and the great location also add to its appeal." 23 Madison Road is located directly off Route 46, proximate to I-80.
