Cushman & Wakefield Brokers Expansion Lease for Solix in Parsippany
Outsourcing Firm Adds 10,000 Square Feet to Headquarters Space Taken Just Over a Year Ago.
- (1888PressRelease) April 14, 2011 - PARSIPPANY, N.J. - Just more than a year ago, Solix, Inc., relocated its headquarters from Whippany, N.J. with its full-building occupancy of the 56,000-square-foot 30 Lanidex Plaza West. Now, the outsourcing firm has added 10,000 square feet at the adjoining 10 Lanidex Plaza West, represented in both long-term transactions by the East Rutherford, N.J.-based Cushman & Wakefield Inc. team of Peter Hamburger, Walter Schoenberg, Harlan Hollander, Robert Rudin, Jan Randall, and Nate Brzozowski.
"Solix, recently won additional contracts and needed more space to house upwards of 70 staffers," said Hamburger. "The firm continues to show solid growth, as clearly indicated by the fact that they had expanded by combining two existing North Jersey locations at 30 Lanidex Plaza West just over a year ago, and already needed more space to accommodate their needs."
Solix, Inc., which employs more than 400 in New Jersey, is a leading provider of government and commercial process outsourcing solutions with an emphasis on public benefit program services and customer relationship management solutions. The company's clients include, among others, government agencies, telecommunications providers and healthcare providers.
In addition to its Parsippany headquarters, Solix operates call centers in Illinois and Indiana and has a regional office in Missouri. The firm's headquarters relocation to Parsippany in late 2009 won the United Way of Morris County's coveted "Commercial Real Estate Impact Award."
The 72,711-square-foot, three-story 10 Lanidex Plaza West is owned by 10 Lanidex Associates LP, an affiliate of Montvale, N.J.-based Ivy Equities. The latter also owns 30 Lanidex Plaza West. In the latest transaction, the landlord was represented in-house by Marion Geddes, executive vice president-leasing.
"The location of both buildings, near the intersection of I-80 and Parsippany Rd., is highly accessible and ideal for Solix's requirements," said Hamburger. "In addition, the headquarters space at 30 Lanidex Plaza West was completely redeveloped by Ivy Equities to meet LEED certification standards. That is one of the company's ongoing requirements, and in both transactions, we were able to identify properties meeting the high standards of their corporate culture."
