Cushman & Wakefield Arranges Long-Term Sublease for Cosmetics Company
Trish McEvoy Ltd. will Relocate its W/D Operations to 28,148 Square Feet at 430 Commerce Blvd.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) October 22, 2010 - Trish McEvoy Ltd. has signed a five-year sublease for 28,148 square feet of warehousing/distribution space at 430 Commerce Blvd., announced commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., East Rutherford, N.J. The New York-based cosmetics company will relocate the operation from an existing site in Elmwood Park, N.J.
Curtis Foster and Jeff Prezant of Cushman & Wakefield represented the sublessor, The Paige Company. Trish McEvoy was represented by Andrew Houston, Mark Siegler and Marc Hirschinger of Cassidy Turley. 430 Commerce Blvd., totaling nearly 122,000 square feet of Class A industrial space, is owned by Russo Development.
"Trish McEvoy had some very specific requirements for a new location, which amounted to a reconfiguration of its existing operation in Elmwood Park," said Foster. "Primary among those requirements was that the new location had to be a well-built, well-insulated Class A environment with state-of-the-art temperature controls, given the nature of the company's products. They also required excellent loading facilities and upgraded office space.
"This building had the right image, as well as an excellent location for accessibility to the company's offices in New York," said Foster. "430 Commerce proved to be the ideal location, and this transaction also represents a vote of confidence in the Meadowlands industrial market."
Situated in Hudson County, 430 Commerce Blvd. provides access to routes 3, 120, and 1/9, the New Jersey Turnpike, and to the I-495 approach to the Lincoln Tunnel.
