Curtin & Heefner Names Trial Lawyer Carolyn M. Angelaccio Partner of Firm - Two Named Senior Associates

Ms. Angelaccio focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on insurance matters, private disability claims and Social Security claims.

Ms. Angelaccio's insurance practice includes first party property claims as well as bad faith claims in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She also represents individual claimants in private disability and Social Security matters. An active member of the Bucks County Bar Association, Ms. Angelaccio serves on the Member Services Committee. She has also held numerous leadership roles within the organization including serving as the Member Services Committee Chairperson and as a member of the Board of Directors. Ms. Angelaccio has been recognized by Thomson Reuters, published annually in Philadelphia magazine, as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® Rising Star in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 (no Rising Stars were recognized in 2009). She has also been selected as a Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer in recognition of her outstanding promise and commitment to the legal profession and the community at large.

Mr. Maguire focuses his practice on insurance defense and bad faith litigation. He also provides coverage opinions to insurance carriers and advises them regarding claims handling practices, Pennsylvania's bad faith statute, insurance fraud and other special investigation unit issues. He has tried cases to verdict in state and federal courts, and obtained judgments against insureds for civil insurance fraud. Mr. Maguire was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® Rising Star in 2010 and 2011.
Mr. Sullivan maintains significant appellate and complex commercial litigation practices. He has successfully handled matters of first impression under Pennsylvania law, obtaining reversals on appeal for his clients; handled commercial insurance coverage litigation involving multiple primary and excess insurers; and represented a tenant of the World Trade Center in a business interruption insurance coverage claim. Mr. Sullivan also regularly represents financial institutions in lender liability lawsuits and other lending-related litigation. He is active in a number of bar and community organizations, including his service as: co-chair of the Appellate Courts Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association; vice-chair of the Civil Litigation Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; vice-president of the Brehon Law Society; and president of the board of directors of Center City Opera Theater. Mr. Sullivan also recently concluded a three-year term as an elected member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Sullivan was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® Rising Star in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011. He was also selected as a Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer.
