    The seminar is intended to update public and/or private employers, managers and human resources professionals on the latest developments in employment and employee benefits law and how to successfully comply with the changes. The lawyers in this type of law are attorneys David Truelove, Jordan Yeager, Kyong Growney, Matthew Bass, and Vincent Magyar, Jr.

    About the Attorneys

    Matthew Bass focuses his practice on employment and labor law with particular emphasis on employee benefits law. Prior to joining the law firm, Bass worked in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation department of a major Philadelphia law firm. Bass is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and served as an appellate court law clerk.

    Kyong Growney represents employers and management in federal and state court litigation proceedings and before federal, state and local administrative agencies. Growney also advises employers and management in all labor and employment related matters including employee discipline, hiring and firing decisions, leave issues, labor relations, wage and hour issues, restrictive covenants and in the creation or revision of employee handbooks.

    Vincent Magyar, Jr. advises municipal and other governmental clients in connection with federal, state and municipal law and regulations. He also advises business clients, non-profit entities and governmental units in a broad range of public finance matters, as well as on issues in connection with labor law and other employment matters.

    David Truelove serves as Chairman of the firm's Employment & Municipal Section. Truelove's areas of concentration include municipal/labor law, employment matters and complex litigation. Truelove has served as an Assistant Public Defender in Bucks County and as labor/personnel solicitor for Warminster Municipal Authority. He currently serves as labor counsel for Lower Makefield Township, Upper Southampton Township, Warrington Township, Penndel Borough, Jenkintown Borough, and Warminster Township.

    Jordan Yeager focuses his practice on employment law, federal civil rights litigation and municipal law. He has served as solicitor to Nockamixon Township and as Labor Counsel to numerous municipal governments. He represents community groups and individuals in environmental and land use matters and has been a frequent lecturer on employment law and related topics.
