Curly Hair Artistry, An Online Group Of Hair Stylists, Will Gather For The First Curly Hair Symposium This October 19 - 21

Besides advanced cutting techniques, these curly hair specialists will be educating their colleagues in unique product applications and business needs within their specific genre.
When Scott Musgrave started C.H.A., at the beginning of 2013, he had no idea it would have such appeal. Nearly 80 members speak through out the day on their concerns, as well as passion, for their specialty. "There is very little education on curly hair so the encouragement to work through difficult situations, get mentorship and guidance is what this group focuses on," says Musgrave.
As the fashion trend of straight hair moves towards a more natural look, there will be an increasing need for Curly Hair Specialists. Lorraine Massey, Curly Hair Expert and author of Curly Girl: The Handbook states "65% of women have naturally wavy or curly hair." Curly Hair Artistry are on the forefront of this movement with the world's first curly hair symposium this fall.
Curly Hair Artistry was founded in January 2013. It represents a forum for the Curly Hair Specialist seeking deeper knowledge and support in their craft. Kristen King, owner of Roots Hair Color Studio, has been a DEVA inspired curl consultant since 2007. She is expanding her expertise in curl care by attending this symposium in October, 2013.
