CureMD holds Annual User Group Meeting at the Time and Life Building in New York City from October 21 to 22, 2013.
- (1888PressRelease) November 06, 2013 - CureMD held its Annual User Group Meeting, the biggest Healthcare IT event of the year in New York City at the Time and Life Building from October 21 to 22, 2013.
The entire CureMD community gathered from throughout the nation for the 2 day event. Attendees included physician practices of all sizes, HIE connected health systems, industry experts and sponsored partners.
Industry experts and CureMD specialists presented sessions on various topics, ranging from healthcare reform, administrative and clinical operations to patient engagement, reports and analytics. Important areas of the evolving healthcare industry were addressed throughout the event and providers attended valuable sessions presented by their peers.
On day 1, the event opened up with registration and a bountiful breakfast for attendees, followed by a welcome address by CEO Kamal Hashmat. Importance of Healthcare IT, getting ready for ICD-10, CPOE, Patient Engagement and introduction to Meaningful Use Stage 2 were some of the key topics discussed. The day broke all previous records for CureMD's attendees and the guests thronged the place in huge numbers.
Day 2 was all about how users can benefit by using CureMD's products. Engaging providers with practice performance analysis, introducing latest CureMD innovations and utilizing the patient portal in the best manner possible were the topics of the day. The keynote address was delivered by Thomas Check, CIO at Visiting Nurse Service of New York followed by a cocktail reception which concluded the event.
The highlight of the user conference was announcing the launch of CureMD Avalon - a device independent mobile app that works both on iOS as well as Android platforms. Users lined up to take a test drive app and appreciated the design, usability and feature enhancements.
This annual event is turning into one of the major events in the healthcare industry. Attendees were thrilled with the way the company is moving forward with its innovations to meet the latest industry challenges.
