The U.S. Air National Guard has selected CTRL's UL101 to outfit all bases for all platforms. After in-depth testing by the Air National Guard beginning in 2009, the UL101 will be fielded for use on both fixed wing and rotary platforms.
CTRL will join RMI and its partners from Baltimore County, the State of Maryland, and the U.S. Department of Energy featuring six leading Maryland manufacturing companies committed to energy conservation. CTRL will be part of the engaging roundtable discussion with the Maryland Energy Administration as they discuss the financial resources available to manufacturers.
CTRL Systems, Inc. has been awarded a contract to test expanded usage of ultrasound with the UL101 on-board ship. Implementation first began in 2003 in a collaborative effort between CTRL and NAVSEA when more than 100 PM activities were identified for ultrasound technology. Ultrasound allows for problems to be identified and located very early, it is quick to use, and it is non-intrusive.
