CSC Releases New Version of RISKMASTER for Comprehensive Claims and Risk Management
Integrated Software Speeds Incident and Claims Outcomes.
- (1888PressRelease) June 04, 2011 - CSC (NYSE: CSC) released its next-generation of RISKMASTER, a comprehensive software system that helps claims and risk managers more efficiently and cost effectively administer all aspects of liability and workers compensation incidents and claims. The newest features of the fully Web-enabled software, coupled with major enhancements over the past five years, provide self-insured companies, corporate and carrier claims departments, insurance pools and third-party administrators with broader capabilities in analytics and policy management. Other improvements include an enhanced user interface and better integration with Microsoft Outlook and other associated applications.
RISKMASTER is browser-based software that consolidates multiple business functions, including incident and legal matter management, into one cohesive solution. Additions to the data tool kit include standard CSC-designed templates that can be customized to manage data imports and exports, such as enterprise-class data integration. With access to the source template, users can modify the logic of the data flow and add their own validations and other customizations to ease data access and use.
“RISKMASTER helps us effectively self-administer our workers’ compensation program, including general liability, auto liability and hospital incident reporting,” said Patrick Venditti, director of Corporate Health Services for BJC HealthCare, St. Louis, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health care organizations with 27,000 employees. “We’re eager to learn more about the new features, particularly the enhancements to RISKMASTER Data Analytics. Our business is so dynamic that the ability to quickly analyze meaningful risk data is key to our success with safety improvements and return-to-work programs.”
“CSC’s RISKMASTER has supported many North American organizations through every major wave of technology change affecting the liability and workers compensation claims market over the past two decades,” said Jeffery Schwalk, president of CSC’s Property and Casualty Insurance Division. “As mounting caseloads demand faster and more informed decisions, we will continue to expand RISKMASTER to help our clients respond to changing business requirements, take proactive advantage of opportunities and mitigate future losses.”
CSC’s RISKMASTER software offers complete liability and workers compensation claims management, from first notice of loss to final disposition, along with a flexible risk management information system. The browser-based system can be installed at a client site or hosted by CSC.
RISKMASTER Data Analytics is a data interface platform that leverages industry-leading data management tools from the SAP® BusinessObjects™ business intelligence (BI) solutions with import/export templates designed by CSC specifically for RISKMASTER. RISKMASTER Data Analytics streamlines the import and export of data, and reduces risks associated with multiple system interfaces.
