Crystal Pharmatech Installed Asia-Pacific's First Empyrean X-ray Diffraction System
Crystal Pharmatech Co., Ltd has installed a fully-equipped, high-throughput, transmission/reflection X-ray diffractometer which it has recently purchased from PANalytical B. V.
- (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2011 - The X-ray system, Empyrean, is the latest and most advanced model offered by PANalytical, just entering the market in 2010. This is the first unit of its kind in either India or China, two of the fastest growing countries in the world for pharmaceutical development. The Empyrean is fully equipped including humidity control, temperature control, and can be operated in both transmission and reflection modes. Additionally, the Empyrean can be operated with a stage designed for a 96-well plate or in the regular
flat-stage mode with a 12 plate auto-sampler.
This state-of-the-art X-ray diffractometer can detect across a wide range of angles and is ideal for small sample masses yielding exceptional sensitivity. In addition, the Empyrean is equipped with unmatched data processing and cluster analysis software. This allows information to be gained rapidly and reliably for a large volume of samples.
