(1888PressRelease) January 12, 2022 - There's a musical theme to three marvelous manes: the daughter of a British singing legend, a star in a new-yet-old movie and a "world singer" from South America. Lily Collins, Ariana DeBose and Bianca Marques all lead the way with three nominations for the best hairstyles of the year.

The women from England, North Carolina and Brazil top the list of nominees for the 22nd annual Crown Awards, presented by the celebrity hair website Super-Hair.Net. Online voting for winners in 21 categories will begin Saturday evening (U.S. time).

"Collins has become a style-setter for her looks in Emily in Paris, while DeBose became a star with her moves in West Side Story," said the overseer of Super-Hair.Net. "Marques has won three Crowns in recent years, but now she's a candidate beyond simply music."

Collins and Marques will clash for the Best Brunette Award. Collins also is nominated for Best Hairstyle on Television and Makeover of the Year for adding bangs during 2021.

Marques could win Best Hairstyle in Music for the fourth time in five years, while she's also nominated for the top-level Best Long Hair prize.

DeBose is in the running for Best Short Hair of the year, Best Hairstyle in a Movie and Newcomer of the Year.

A wide range of categories are part of the Crown Awards, and a wide variety of people could win them. This year's nominees include Los Angeles tutor and part-time actress Elizabeth Bond, NASA aerospace engineer Diana Trujllo and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Women with two Crown nominations include singing icon Adele, ESPN host Malika Andrews, Stargirl star Brec Bassinger and British TV meteorologist Laura Tobin.

The full list of nominees is posted now in the Crown Awards area of Super-Hair.Net. Voting for the winners will open this weekend, with three ballots rotating weekly over several weeks. The Crown winners are scheduled to be announced online Sunday, March 20.
