The conference was attended by a wide cross section of the global financial industry including retail, commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms. Gurpreet Chhatwal, Senior Director and Global Head, Risk and Analytics, CRISIL GR&A, presided over the stream titled "Economic capital, financial regulations and risk aggregation". The sessions under his moderation addressed the challenges that confront financial institutions today due to the combination of increased regulatory oversight and higher capital requirements.

Some of the latest developments and innovations discussed in the conference included new approaches to counterparty credit risk, modeling liquidity risk and operational risk, the impact of Swap Data Repositories and Swap Executions Facilities on the OTC swaps market, and the future of risk management.
