Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) May 01, 2014 - We are excited to be moving our offices to this historic building. The Marquette Building, located at 140 S. Dearborn St., was constructed while Chicago was recovering from the Great Fire of 1871 and shortly after the conclusion of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. Designed by Holabird and Roche, building construction was completed in 1895. Restoration, which began in 1978 and which was completed in 2006, brought the building back to its original glory.

It is a classic example of the Chicago School of Architecture, with an open grid design, which expresses the steel frame of the skyscraper, and featuring "Chicago windows" (large panes of glass flanked by narrow sash windows). The lobby features mosaics by Louis Comfort Tiffany, sculptures, and bronze reliefs honoring Jacques Marquette's 1674-1675 expedition. The Marquette Building is a Chicago Landmark, a National Historic Landmark, and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
