Creative Diagnostics Announces New Protein-Based Fluorescent Nanoparticles for Researchers
Creative Diagnostics launches novel protein-based fluorescent nanoparticles for super-resolution cell imaging.
- (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2019 - With years of experience in the pharmaceutical and life science sector, Creative Diagnostics now launches a series of novel protein-based fluorescent nanoparticles suitable for super-resolution cell imaging, which are prepared with protein and fluorescent dye molecule by a crosslinker of EDC under benign ambient conditions. The new protein-based fluorescent nanoparticles have many advantages, such as being small size, high stability, long storage life and biocompatible compared to traditional agents, while retaining their biology activity, and they can be internalized quickly, which is ideal for cell imaging.
Due to their biocompatibility, nanoparticles can enter the cells through internalization rapidly, so the fluorescent dye molecules of the particles can be detected by fluorescence microscopy to achieve better cell imaging effects. During this process, glucose oxidase and glucose are necessary for producing hydrogen peroxide which can penetrate the cell membrane to allow the nanoparticles to enter the cell. Creative Diagnostics now offers a series of new products for global researchers with different sizes, such as Protein-Based Nanoparticles, Fluorescent, Excitation 425 nm, and Protein-Based Nanoparticles, Fluorescent, Excitation 580 nm.
For example, the DiagNano™ Protein-Based Fluorescent Nanoparticles, 10 nm, Excitation 350 nm (# PBF-G1001) are prepared by connecting BSA protein and fluorescent dye molecule through a crosslinker of EDC under benign ambient conditions, thus leaving many COOH groups on the particle surface for additional conjugation or manipulations. The particles are very ideal for cell imaging since they are biocompatible, low toxicity to most cells, but this process requires the assistance of glucose oxidase and glucose.
