Vinod Gonsalves began his career in India in 1977 doing computer programming and operations while attending St. Joseph's College to earn his degree. Upon coming to the US, he took various courses at Irvine Valley College and UCI to upgrade his knowledge and worked for various companies to broaden his horizon and skill set.
A results-driven leader with a deep expertise in planning, enhancing corporate performance, and data analysis, Mr. Gonsalves is a strategic business partner with the ability to translate financial, operational data, and metrics into actionable business insights. His forte is in turning companies around by increasing their working capital and ROI, motivating and mentoring talent, building and maintaining high-performance teams, developing consolidated Balance Sheet, P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management, and documenting financial policies, process, controls and procedures, and has implemented, converted, and customized accounting systems.
Mr. Gonsalves dedicates his success to his beloved wife Rita of 22 years who was his best friend, inspiration, philosopher, guide, guiding light, and confidant who encouraged him to climb up the corporate ladder and be what he is today. They say that behind every successful man is a woman; she was his rock. Rita unfortunately passed away three-and-a-half years ago and is greatly missed.
Mr. Gonsalves's plans for the future is to do what he does best, which is taking each organization he works for to the next level, continue mentoring and training the staff who work under him, and help each one of them to achieve their goals and be successful. Personally, he aspires to give back to the community and the less fortunate in any way he can. Mr. Gonsalves currently has over 15 years of combined experience as a financial controller and director of operations.
