Shultz, Founder and Owner of Global Professional Speakers Academy, has been selected as an Executive of the Year Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Vicki S. Shultz's commitment to excellence in Service Consulting.
Vicki S. Shultz, who began her career in 1973, trained her first speakers and executives in the 1980's, some of whom are still performing at the top of their market today. A professionally trained public speaker by a well-known speaking coach, her natural talents in speaking have helped her hone her skills and continue in the field all these years later.
As primary owner and CEO of Global Professional Speakers Academy, Ms. Shultz creates curriculum for students, oversees training and assistance provided by faculty, and personally coaches a number of students, which come from a wide variety of countries and backgrounds.
"Because our students come from all over and have unique backgrounds, overseeing the operation is an ever-growing responsibility," Ms. Shultz said about the complexity of the job. "Although we've already taken our company global, we still want to move into more and more countries with our speakers."
A certified coach practitioner through Certified Coaches Federation since 2012, Ms. Shultz hopes to see the Academy's students continue to change our world by sharing their passions for audiences around the world. She is excited for the future of the business and it is her hopes that she is able to continue to personally mentor hundreds of people through her trainings.
Throughout her career, Ms. Shultz has been multitasking, serving in multiple organizations simultaneously. In the early 1980's, as one of the first women to manage a city in Texas, Ms. Shultz received numerous certifications in all areas of the municipal corporation's operations. More recently, she served as president of the HMPA, the nation's largest paralegal association, and she happens to be an advance certified paralegal as well through NALA, specializing in trial preparation. In recent years, she has served as the administrator of a large metropolitan law firm and was selected as a Woman of the Year recipient by the National Association of Professional Women in 2012. A member of the International Leadership Association, Certified Coaches Federation, and the Society for Human Resource Management, Ms. Shultz always seeks to bring up-to-the-minute knowledge and skills to the Academy.
