Covington Who's Who Selects Tracey Felix-Thomas as a Featured Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Tracey Felix-Thomas began her career in 2002 upon entering the Sam Houston State University counseling program. By 2004, she had graduated with her Master's Degree and she began practicing shortly thereafter. Four years later, in 2008, she opened up her own practice.
As owner of ME Solutions, Ms. Felix-Thomas specializes in adoption, anger, and trauma. She works with clients to help them deal with whatever issues they are experiencing. She completes assessments and diagnosis, participates in meetings about her clients, serves as an advocate, works with clients in foster care and adoption settings, works with the military as a counselor, speaks publically on occasion and testifies in court when necessary. She also serves as a supervisor to several master's students and graduates to help them meet their necessary requirements for graduation and beyond.
"I've wanted to be a psychologist since I was just 11-years-old," Ms. Felix-Thomas said. "The various specialties I've studied over the years have taught me how to maintain a different perspective on treating each of my clients. I have been working towards my aspiration as a child every day since then."
A certified qualified supervisor through the state of Florida, Ms. Felix-Thomas is also certified in adoption competency. She hopes to someday become a clinical psychologist and be able to teach more classes to those interested. She would also like to travel more to other places and countries as a therapist to gain a different perspective of the many cultural differences.
Ms. Felix-Thomas serves on the board of Forever Families. She is a board certified fellow of the American College of Advanced Practice Psychotherapist and was recently asked to serve on their advisory board of directors.
