Covington Who's Who Selects Sean L. Tolentino as an Honored Lifetime Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
Sean L. Tolentino, Environmental Specialist with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA), has been selected as an Honored Lifetime Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Sean L. Tolentino's commitment to excellence in Government.

Tolentino, who holds a BS in Chemistry from Baldwin-Wallace College-Berea, an MBA from Capital University-Columbus, an MA in Political Science from Ohio University-Athens, and an EJD from Concord Law School-Los Angeles, has been a registered sanitarian through the Ohio State Board of Sanitarian Registration for the past 18 years. He has been working with his current organization since August of 1991.
Having spent two years as a chemist with Ohio EPA's Division of Environmental Services, Mr. Tolentino was then promoted to their Southeast District Office in Logan, Ohio, where he began permitting and enforcement in the Agency's wastewater program for another 11 years. After transferring to their Central Office in Columbus, Ohio, in 2004, where he oversees and provides technical assistance to Ohio businesses for pollution prevention and compliance assistance, Mr. Tolentino now has a total of 22 years of experience with Ohio EPA.
"I have always been motivated by the desire to learn and continue learning," Mr. Tolentino said, noting his strong written and verbal communication skills. "To me, learning is an ongoing process, something my parents instilled in me at a very early age. The values that I learned from them have helped mold and shape me into the person that I am today."
Hoping to use his experience and legal expertise to break into the environmental law aspect of his organization, Mr. Tolentino is eager for continued success with them. At just 48-years-old, Mr. Tolentino is dedicated to many more years on the job.
Mr. Tolentino is a member of the American Chemical Society and the Ohio Environmental Health Association. He currently chairs a National Environmental Workshop Group, which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, since 2008. He is also director emeritus of the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable, having served from 2009-2012. He was the first non-Nevada resident to receive the 25th Annual Nevada State Government Man of the Year Award and the recipient of an Ohio EPA Team Award, granted in 1998 for his efforts with the Meigs County mine flooding in 1997.
Mr. Tolentino has been married for 17 years and lives in Lancaster with his wife Linda.
