Raine J. Carter, author of two books, 'And Rainedrops Fall Down My Cheeks' (2010 and 2014), and 'Rainedrops From Heaven' (2014) have already been receiving much acclaim. 'And Rainedrops Fall Down My Cheeks' is the recipient of two awards and has been a great success. It introduces Raine as a spiritual medium and her journey with her guardian angel. 'Rainedrops from Heaven' was released in January 2014 and already won three awards including a five-star book review by Readers Favorite, wining first place in the category of Spirituality with NABE Pinnacle Book Award for Summer 2014. It follows on from the first book delving deeper into spirituality including how past lives affect our present one, and our experience of death and how to spiritually care for a dying loved one. TheAuthorsShow.com recently honored Raine's book 'Rainedrops from Heaven' after she entered the book into a competition that involved writing an essay according to their topic, reaching a finalist stage, and then becoming a winner to be entered into their 2014-15 'Book of 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading'.
"As you can imagine I am extremely happy at becoming a winner for this prestigious award," Raine said.
Raine earned diplomas in Sociology, Sociology II, Nutrition, and Nurses Health/Perspectives and Practices from Massey University, followed by a Degree in Osteopathy from the Osteopathic College of New Zealand. She began her career in the late 1980's progressing from a beauty therapist to qualifying as a Clinical Hypnotherapist/Counselor. Later she ran a Beauty Therapy School and was the first beauty therapy school to meet the New Zealand Qualifications Association's requirements setting a benchmark for others.
As a Cinical Hypnotherapist/Counselor and an Osteopath, Raine simultaneously directed her beauty therapy school where she oversaw three staff members, tutors, and specialist tutors as Principal and was also in demand as an Osteopath and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Now presiding over wedding ceremonies, funeral services, and name giving ceremonies and pet memorials, Raine is often asked why she began working as a spiritual medium. She said that when she retired from her Osteopathic and Clinical Hypnotherapy business, it was a natural extension for her to move into marriage celebrancy work and to allow the spiritual medium to come to the fore.
Raine plans to continue writing more books, too. She is currently qualified in Dream Interpretation, Counseling, Marriage Celebrant, Funeral Celebrant, Namegiving Celebrant, and Pet Memorial Celebrant. She is also a certified Cranio Sacral Therapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist/Counselor, and has specialized in the past in Lymphatic and Therapeutic Massage with Aromatherapy.
