- (1888PressRelease) May 28, 2014 - Raine, who earned diplomas in Sociology, Sociology II, Nutrition, and Nurses Health/Perspectives and Practices from Massey University, followed by a Degree in Osteopathy from the Osteopathic College of New Zealand, began her career in the late 1980's progressing from a beauty therapist to qualifying as a clinical hypnotherapist/counselor. During that time she ran a beauty therapy school and was the first beauty therapy school to meet the New Zealand qualifications association's requirements setting a benchmark for others.
Serving as a clinical hypnotherapist/counselor and also as an osteopath, Raine simultaneously directed her beauty school where she oversaw three staff members, tutors, and specialist tutors as office head. Now presiding over wedding ceremonies, funeral services, and name giving ceremonies and pet memorials, Ms. Carter is often asked why she began working as a spiritual medium. The answer, she says, has been a part of who she is since she was first born.
"When I retired from my osteopathic and clinical hypnotherapy business, it was a natural extension for me to move into marriage celebrancy work and it was time to allow the spiritual medium to come to the fore," she explained.
Raine has since authored two books: 'And Rainedrops Fall Down My Cheeks' (two editions); and 'Rainedrops from Heaven'. 'Cheeks' is already the recipient of two awards and has been a great success. It introduces Raine as a spiritual medium and her journey with her guardian angel. 'Heaven' was released in January 2014 and has also won its first award and was granted a five-star book review by Readers Favorite. It has since won first place in its category of spirituality with NABE Pinnacle Book Award for summer 2014. It follows on from the first book delving deeper into spirituality.
With plans to continue writing more books, Raine already has one in the works. She is currently a qualified Dream Interpretation Counseling Marriage Celebrant, Funeral Celebrant, Namegiving Celebrant, and Pet Memorial Celebrant. She is also a certified cranio sacral therapist, clinical hypnotherapist/counselor, and has specialized in the past in lymphatic and therapeutic massage with aromatherapy.
