Ms. Lemon's advice to anyone thinking about a career in real estate is this: If you always do your best for your customer, do not worry about what you get for yourself, and put their needs above your own, then you will always have enough money to pay your bills. She adds that she has never asked her clients to refer her because she believes, with all her heart, that if you truly do the job you will not have to.
Ms. Lemon was named Newcomer of the Year for the entire RE/MAX Detroit Region in l987 and was the top woman for the region in l988, 1990, and 1992. She has also received numerous awards from other real estate companies and is currently in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. She has been active in many organizations over the years, including being a member with Right to Life, As a past president of JayCeeEttes, with Nursing Home Visitations, Prayer Groups, and ran for school board. If she had more free time, she would enjoy playing duplicate bridge.
Crediting any success she may have had to God, she said that without him, she would not have been able to do anything. Every one of her clients had been a gift and she considers herself to be one of the luckiest people in the world to have been able to meet and interact with clients in one of the biggest decisions of their life regarding where they were going to live and raise their families.
