Covington Who's Who Selects Phyllis A. Kadrmas as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Kadrmas, English Teacher for Devils Lake High School, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Phyllis A. Kadrmas's commitment to excellence in Education.
Kadrmas, who holds a BS in English, Speech, Pathology, and Psychology from Mankoto State University and an MS in Educational Studies with a certification in Instructional Design Technology from the University of North Dakota, is certified in instructional design, 7-12 English, and also as a certified EMT and first responder. She has been working in education since 1974.
Now teaching English to high school students, Kadrmas also instructs a duel credit class of college composition and senior level English. In addition, she coaches the speech team, serves as the National Honor Society advisor, senior class advisor, and department chairman.
"Students are my inspiration, as I feel that teachers truly touch the future," Kadrmas explained about her career. "There are a myriad of possibilities every time one steps into the classroom."
With aspirations of continuing to teach, Kadrmas hopes to someday write and consult with other teachers in a more full-time capacity by integrating technology into the classroom.
