The selection recognizes Paul Schwartz's commitment to excellence in the Management Consulting field.
Paul Schwartz, who holds a Bachelor's Degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York, and is also a graduate of the Customs Leadership Institute conducted by the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government Executive Education Program. His experience working with the federal government spans over thirty-five years. Thirty of those years were spent with the US Customs Service serving in the New York Region as its Chief of Commercial Operations and in Customs Headquarters in Washington, DC as Director of Trade Enforcement. Most recently, he served as the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Chief of Operational Integration, overseeing FEMA's Gap Analysis and Mission Assignment Programs.
Currently the President of F.O.R.E, the company is dedicated to assisting organizations achieve organizational efficiencies through process improvement and effective management of change within the organization.
Schwartz also recently served as a member of the Evacuation, Transportation, and Housing Subcommittee of the National Commission on Children and Disasters. He has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the FEMA Administrator's Outstanding Individual Award for his work in developing and implementing their Gap Analysis Program in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the Department of Homeland Security's One DHS Award, and the US Customs Service Commissioner's Award for Innovation.
