Paul Rushefski, who holds a Bachelor's of Accounting from Wilkes University and is a registered tax return preparer with the IRS, has been working in the field since earning his degree in 1980 in corporate accounting.
Now the president of his own accounting firm, Mr. Rushefski oversees his organization by preparing tax returns, providing independent consulting, and business analysis for his clients. He gathers accounting data for financial statement preparation, handles all forms for tax preparation, and advises his customers on current tax and accounting laws to ensure proper reporting.
"I have always enjoyed working as a leader and thus wanted to break away from the corporate environment to become a self-owned company where I could control my own destiny," Mr. Rushefski said. "My customers look up to me for all the answers where I can successfully provide then with what's needed."
With aspirations of continuing to grow his practice, Mr. Rushefski is currently studying for his CPA to expand his knowledge and abilities in serving his clients. He is currently a member with the National Association of Printers and Lithographers and Printing Institute of America.
