Covington Who's Who Selects Pani Tademeti as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) August 13, 2013 - Pani Tademeti, who earned his MBA from Wake Forest School of Business in 1989, is a certified benefits professional and certified public manager who began working in human resources in 1975 as an executive for a multi-national company in India.
Since 1987, Mr. Tademeti has been working for his current company, first as an employee benefits manager and now as a human resource program director.
Responsible for administering a statewide voluntary employee benefits program for some 120,000 employees since 1995, the program has grown significantly in participation and was recognized by National Bodies for successful implementation and marketing. Currently, there are 95,000 employees taking advantage of pre-tax savings and as a result of employee participation, the state also saves $4 million annually in FICA taxes.
"Employees are the greatest asset of our organization and they appreciate receiving benefits that are of value," Mr. Tademeti said. "It also provides the employer a great retention tool."
With experience spanning disciplines in finance, contract administration, marketing, and human resources, Mr. Tademeti hopes to promote employee awareness of their benefits so they can accomplish both financial and physical wellness. He also hopes to become a resource consultant to help develop strategies in promoting employee benefits.
Mr. Tademeti is a current advisory board member with Voluntary Benefits Association. He is the recipient of a 2011 Leadership Award in Excellence for providing employee benefits, a 2010 Governor's Award for Excellence, and was also named a finalist for the 2005 American Business Awards.
