Covington Who's Who Selects O. John Odukoya as a VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

John Odukoya, Senior Pastor with The Fountain of Life Grace Springs, has been selected as a VIP Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes O. John Odukoya's commitment to excellence in Religion.
Odukoya, who holds a BS in Economics from the University of Lagos in Nigeria, a Bachelor's Degree in Theology form Christian Life Ministries, and is currently pursuing his PhD in Leadership Development and Global Church Planting from BILD International Antioch School, began working in his field in 1994 while serving as secretary of a local church in Washington, DC.
Currently serving as senior pastor, Odukoya preaches the gospel, provides a variety of beneficial services to the local community, and unifies families. Community involvement includes filing online food stamp applications through the Department of Social Services, providing year round supplies of free groceries on a bi-weekly basis, providing free tax services to low-income families, organizing annual community health fairs, and working with the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development for those facing foreclosure.
"We believe a strong and healthy family will make a strong and healthy nation," Odukoya said. "As a group, we believe that we should show the love of Christ and demonstrate compassion to the less privileged members of our society."
With aspirations to continue providing for the community, one of Odukoya's priorities include obtaining temporary transitional housing for battered women and community members that cannot support themselves.
Odukoya served as president of Well of Restoration Orphanage Boys School in Nigeria from (provide years), is currently on the advisory board for Maryland Council for New Americans since February 2009, serving a four-year term, and is a current member of World Vision. He was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation as an Initiative Mentor with DeVos Urban Leadership in May of 2010.
