Covington Who's Who Selects Nathaleen Cobb as a VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Lubbock, TX (1888PressRelease) September 04, 2013 - Nathaleen Cobb, a self-employed registered nurse, started out in 1960 as a novice nurse in training with a doctor who owned his own clinic and hospital and was trained as a clinician working in all areas of the hospital. By 1985, Ms. Cobb had graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing.
Although Ms. Cobb does do some counseling work, she is, for the most part, retired from the nursing field. Actively involved in the local chapter of The National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse where she appointed executive director and she was able to apply her experience and degree in nursing to start a library of related subject matter to help educate the general public in the identification of child abuse and provide certain resolutions. She visited schools to give suggestions of how to help a friend in need.
Also a writer, Ms. Cobb has self-published her first book, The Sparrow's Song, in 2009 through Xlibris. She's also a member of the Texas Nurses Association, International Society of Poets as a distinguished member, and the International Poetry Hall of Fame. She is the recipient of three Editor's Choice Award from the National Library of Poetry for outstanding achievement in poetry and has also been named to the Poetry Hall of Fame.
