Mitchell Meyer began his career as owner of SoftWEAR Solutions in the early 1980's while he was employed full-time as a pilot for United Airlines. Specializing in web design in the Northwood's of Wisconsin, his small business has been thriving for over 30 years now.
As owner and CEO, Mr. Meyer does web design, included but not limited to domain name registrations, building personal websites from scratch, installing software needed for sites on dedicated servers, updating software on both the server and client sides, instructing and teaching on the CMS usage of their sites, updating Drupal versions as they become available, backing up essential software and sites, maintaining up-to-date modern sites, and more. "The majority of my working life I was employed as a professional airline pilot (Boeing 767-Capt.). There was no room for mistakes, everything had to be done with a professional attitude for successful completion of the mission. That has been ingrained in my being and everything I do, be it web design, pc repair, or classroom instruction," Mr. Meyer said.

In addition to operating his web business, Mr. Meyer has been teaching web design courses as Nicolet College part-time for the last 15 years, both as a credit and continuing education instructor. With no plans of retiring from the web business anytime soon, he looks forward to many more years of a very personally rewarding career that both stimulates and excites him.
Mr. Meyer holds an Associate's Degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a minor in computer science from Columbia College. He has obtained many heavy jet type ratings as well as turbo-prop type ratings, including B-767, B-757, B-737, B-727, EMB-110, and SD-360. He's a member of Airline Pilots Association and US Tae Kwon Do Federation, helps organize and run the annual Radar Racers event in St. Germaine, and is on the Adult Education Committee of Nicolet College. He is also a licensed real estate agent in the state of Wisconsin and a third degree black belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do.
