- San Antonio, TX (1888PressRelease) July 25, 2012 - Kenn Knopp has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Born in 1934, Writer Kenn Knopp graduated from St. Mary's Catholic High School in Fredericksburg, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Investigative Journalism from the University of Texas-Austin in 1956. He served in the public information office for the US Army in Germany from 1957-1959. He followed his two year stint by studying public relations at the University of Texas.
Now writing to help fund The St. Frederick Association, a non-profit, tax-exempt permanent foundation and endowment, the overall goal is to develop the St. Frederick Village, Chapel, Catholic-Ecumencial Retirement Center for Active Seniors, Catholic Ecumencial Early College Preparatory School for grades 9-12, and a scholarship fund to help needy families enroll their children in the college prep school. His writings can be found in the Gilliespie County Historical Society. All proceeds from his writing goes directly to the St. Frederick Association at 407 Cora Street, Fredericksburg, Texas, 78624.
