Covington Who's Who Selects John Church as a VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

John Church's sponsorships career began more than 20 years ago. His first position after college was as an account executive selling media, promotions, signage, and ticket packages for the Phoenix Firebirds (formerly the AAA affiliate of the San Francisco Giants). Mr. Church enjoyed working in sports and possessed the requisite salesmanship. Thus, he chose to pursue sponsorships as a career.
In 2014, Mr. Church achieved a career-long goal of founding his own firm, South Coast Partnerships, Inc., in Laguna Beach, California. As President, he leads every facet of the business including property rights acquisition, creative ideation, partnership packaging, sponsor prospecting, proposals development, delivering presentations, and transactions negotiations. On behalf of client MotoAmerica, Mr. Church serves as the series' Commercial Director.

Mr. Church has been a senior executive within several agencies and properties that have achieved significant success. His substantial contributions have most tangibly been in securing new sponsorship investments. Particularly notable was Mr. Church's decade-long tenure as an Executive Vice President at JMI, where he helped bring more new sponsorship into motorsports than any other agency in the world.
Attending Arizona State University, Mr. Church studied finance and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He plans to continue building his business on the basis of best-in-class property clients while remaining relevant to the needs of corporate marketers.
Residing in Laguna Beach with his wife, Trisha, Mr. Church is the proud father of three daughters, Grace, Anne, and Caroline.
