Covington Who's Who Selects Jerry B. Thomas as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Jerry B. Thomas began his career in retail management in 1977 with FW Woolworth Company. Within just one year, he switched to industrial sales and has been working in the industry ever since.
Now a regional sales manager for Henkel Corporation, a global adhesives company, Mr. Thomas works in the industrial division managing sales people in both North and South Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. He is also responsible for managing relationships with distributors to ensure continued growth in the region. His many successful years in sales, calling on key customers and distributors, coupled with the attendance of many training seminars that focus on negotiation, key account management, finance, and distribution management, to name a few, have contributed greatly to his success in the industry.
"I have always enjoyed working with people and selling products that can add value to an organization," Mr. Thomas stated. "I am driven to succeed in sales and get up every day motivated to find that next opportunity."
Hoping to add as much value to Henkel as he can in his current role, Mr. Thomas aspires to one day take on a national sales manager or global industry specific role. He was awarded the President's Award during his time with National Gypsum and has earned four sales leadership conference awards with Henkel when he worked in the sales field.
Mr. Thomas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in business management from East Carolina University's College of Business. He is a certified Train the Trainer, and is also certified in financial management, performance leadership, and negotiations. He is also a current member Industrial Distribution Management Association for the past 15 years and the Providence United Methodist Church for the past 25 years.
