Jenna Barbosa, owner of her life coaching practice, opened the doors to her business the same year that she became a certified life coach in July 2013. Born with the natural ability to be a leader who encourages and inspires those who are willing to be led, Ms. Barbosa grew up being the one that everyone would go to for advice, so it was only fitting that she make a career out of her natural-born talent.
In Ms. Barbosa's role, coaching sessions are typically 45 minutes long and can take place either over the telephone, through internet webinars, in video conferences, or in person. With a tagline of "pursuing your purpose", her goal is to help people pursue their purpose in life by incorporating the five basic SMART principles: Specific; Measurable; Attainable; Realistic; and Time Sensitive Goals.
"In every position I have held, I have trained newcomers, helped reevaluate existing programs, hire newcomers as well as manage the longevity of success within that position," Ms. Barbosa said. "All the times I stepped in to help customers and clients achieve the results they wanted were the stepping stones in my experience of coaching people toward results."
With a strong passion and desire to help others to not just let life happen to them, but to be what happens to life around them, Ms. Barbosa wants to help clients achieve what they are seeking and to be able to arrive at that "ah-ha" moment in life that can take them where they want to go. Serving as their personal GPS, it is Ms. Barbosa's job to direct them and show them ways to get to their intended destinations.
Ms. Barbosa plans to return to college to earn her MBA and to also complete a licensed facilitator program for Life Purpose coaching. She is currently working on her first book and continues to spend her time on as many stages as possible speaking to the lives of many.
