The selection recognizes Jeannine Roy's commitment to excellence in Psychology and Teaching.
Roy, who studied at the University of Maine and is certified in reality therapy through W. Glasser Institute, spent seventeen years as an executive secretary before starting her own ceramic business. Seven years later, she was invited to teach at the University of Maine where she taught, counseled, and later gave workshops throughout New England on personal development and relationships.
"My love of adventure and as a knowledge seeker led me to change careers, contributing to my acquiring vast knowledge in many disciplines," Roy explained.
Roy is a member of Northeast Reality Therapy Association. She recently published her first book, entitled Your Truth is Written in Your Heart, which can be bought through Amazon.com. She hopes to continue writing, travelling, and giving seminars and workshops.
