Covington Who's Who Selects Jasmine B. Mody as a VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Mody, Owner and Teacher of Jasmine's Learning Center, LLC, has been selected as a VIP Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Jasmine B. Mody's commitment to excellence in Special Education.
Jasmine B. Mody, who earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Kean University, followed by a Master's Degree in Special Education from Montclair State University, is certified in both elementary education and special education. She has been working in the field since 2007, founding her organization in April 2013.
Now the owner and teacher at Jasmine's Learning Center, LLC, Ms. Mody assesses students' strengths and weaknesses in the area of reading, mathematics, phonics, and writing in all levels ranging from preschool through grade 12. She also is responsible for relaying student performance and progress to the parents so they are able to work collaboratively to benefit the student.
"Mostly, I deal with students who have disabilities and need extra help with homework and test preparation," Ms. Mody said.
Having learned the principles of applied behavior analysis in the classroom and self-care through repetition and discrete trials, Ms. Mody has also learned a great deal about how children develop language and social skills, both in general and special education. Having also suffered a disability most of her life that was overlooked and ignored, Ms. Mody is pleased that she has come so far in helping future generations of students overcome hurdles in their academic careers.
Ms. Mody hopes to also open a learning center that students with disabilities can take advantage of and obtain help in the areas they are struggling in. She is currently an active member with Counsel for Exceptional Children and has previously earned a Teacher of the Month Award two times through Huntington Learning Center for excellent work ethic and longevity of employment.
