Covington Who's Who Selects Fejoian M. Kirkland as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) April 15, 2015 - Fejoian M. Kirkland, Kitchen and Bath Department Supervisor for The Home Depot has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Beginning his career with The Home Depot in October 2011 as a lead generator, Fejoian Kirkland moved into becoming a doors and windows specialist before becoming a certified paint associate. After his first year employed with the company, he was considered for a promotion into human resources by their district HR manager and was offered a position with another associate support department supervisor. By February 2013, Mr. Kirkland took over the role as the ASDS, taking on the responsibilities such as keeping time and attendance, conducting orientation, and training. He also accomplished having the lowest past due training in the district fpr 2013. In November 2013, Mr. Kirkland became the department supervisor of kitchen and bath, appliances, and kitchen design and décor.
In Mr. Kirkland's current role, it is his responsibility to conduct interviews for potential candidates for employment, perform performance reviews, keep track of employee training, conduct orientations, maintain a theft plan and ways to deter it, plus a host of other tasks.
"I have a natural drive to achieve and prosper. Last year, I was given another chance at life, so this time I want to strive to make it count," Mr. Kirkland said, who has worked in fast food, fine dining, theaters, hospitality, banking, and retail.
Mr. Kirkland plans to focus on progression to achieve a higher position in human resources down the road. HE would also like to pursue teaching business management courses to undergraduate students while pursuing his doctorate degree. Currently, he holds a BA in Communications and Journalism from the University of South Carolina and an MS in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. He is also a life member of Alpha Chi Honor Society since 2010.
Awarded several times for his good work, Mr. Kirkland most recently received the Lowest Past Due Training Award for his district in his current role as department supervisor.
