Covington Who's Who Selects Earl F. Griffith as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Great Falls, MT (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2015 - Earl F. Griffith, Owner and President of gec, Inc., has been selected as an Executive of the Year Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Upon the completion of his BS in Earth Science (Geology) in 1968 from Montana State University, Earl F. Griffith then attended to his military obligation in the US Navy serving three tours in Antarctica. Returning back to his home state of Montana in 1973, he worked as a labor foreman during the initial construction of Big Sky, Montana. Entering graduate school in 1975, he pursued an MS in Earth Science (Geology) with additional major emphasis in Environmental Engineering and Plant and Soil Science.
Now, as the Owner and President of gec, Inc., Mr. Griffith specializes in groundwater investigations, fuel spill remediation, and phase I and II site investigations. He assists clients, mostly present or former operators of ASTs, USTs, and the attendant fueling systems, get their releases closed according to MT DEQ rule. Whether this achieved by soil removal, insitu remediation, or long-term monitoring as the most cost effective solution, his responsibility is always the same.
"I've always been interested in geology," Mr. Griffith said. "At 70-years-old, however, my goals still remain the same. I endeavor to fully resolve as many of my present client projects as I can before turning over the reins to another responsible scientist. A job unfinished is simply not acceptable."
Mr. Griffith has been a Licensed Professional Geologist through the Wyoming Board of Professional Geologists since 1992. He previously served on the Helena School Board for a time and served as Chairman of both the Lewis and Clark County and the combined City of Helena/Lewis and Clark County park boards.
