Dwight L. Walton, Sr. began his career in education. In fact, he earned his Bachelor's of Education in 1978 at Florida A&M University. He worked as a teacher for a short period at Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida before changing his career path in seek of another passion with the Florida Highway Patrol. He worked with Palm Beach County acre, retiring after twenty-seven years of dedicated service.
As the CEO and owner of D.L.W., Sr. Inc. d/b/a Alpha Omega, Mr. Walton oversees daily operations plus employee training, investigations, surveillance, background screenings, Level 2/LiveScan fingerprinting, drug testing, and process services in southeast Florida. The certified private investigator earned his certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service in 2008, just five years ago, but he's been working diligently to advance his agency and experience in the industry.
While working as a Florida State Trooper in 2006 FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement), it was mandated that all law enforcement personal be electronic fingerprinted so that fingerprints of the staff can be maintained in a nationwide database.
"As a trooper, I was given the responsibility of digitally fingerprinting staff members for the Florida Highway Patrol, which was assigned to Troop L, consisting of seven Florida counties)," Mr. Walton said.
Also a member of State of Florida Office of Supplier Diversity, Palm Beach County School District Small Business Administration, Minority Small Business Administration Association, and Broward County Small Business Administration Association, Mr. Walton certainly keeps active within both his community and his field. He is also the founder and executive director of P.O.M. Outreach, or Peace of Mind Outreach Inc., a 501©3 non-profit organization dedicated to assuring the safety of children and elders. The organization provides child identification and fingerprint cards to churches, schools, and orphanages both locally and internationally.
