Covington Who's Who Selects David Long as a VIP Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
David Long, Assistant Managing Partner of Leitner, Williams, Dooley, Napolitan (LWDN), PLLC, has been selected as a VIP Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes David Long's commitment to excellence in Legal Services.
- Knoxville, TN (1888PressRelease) July 04, 2014 - David Long, who first began his career working at a meat packing plant as a single parent, went back to school and graduated with a BA in Political Science as Valedictorian of the College of Liberal Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1989. He then went on to earn his JD with Honors from Harvard Law School, returned back to his hometown of Knoxville, and formed his litigation practice in 1992.
As a managing equity member of the LWDN, Mr. Long handles litigation civil cases and provides administrative support for the firm. He has worked diligently over the past 20-plus years at being proficient in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, products liability, and employment law in order to provide good and reasonable services to clients in an effort to represent them to the best of his ability.
"My father, mother, wife, and children inspire me every day," Mr. Long said. "My parents came from a meager background but always strove to be an example to their children while emphasizing education and hard work. Faith is also one of my greatest inspirations."
In addition to numerous academic awards, Mr. Long has been a member of several organizations, including Phi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honor Society), Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Eta Sigma, and Golden Key Honor Society. He has served on various boards, including on Knoxville Barrister's Executive Committee from 1993-96 and as chairperson for Child Protective Services for several years. He has spent time as editor-in-chief and contributor for 'The Best Defense, Quarterly: Labor and Employment Publication', on the editorial board of Knoxville Bar Association DICTA, and is a continuing columnist/writer for Knoxville Bar Journal.
