Curtis M. Anderson, who holds Bachelor's Degrees in Economics and Accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from the University of Southern California, began his career in 1983 working for the Huffman, Arrington, Kihle, Gaberino & Dunn law firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Currently the general counsel for MELE Associates, Inc., which is a government contractor that works primarily with the US Department of Energy, Mr. Anderson also provides strategic advice on radiological security, telecommunications, and renewable energy issues. He also helps develop new business and grant opportunities.
"It's important to me that I continue to challenge myself to learn new things at all times," Mr. Anderson said about his career.
With aspirations of helping to bring renewable fuels to the market at competitive prices with the results of all his efforts, Mr. Anderson would also like to focus on leaving a safer, cleaner, more secure, more open and simpler world for his children. He is very interested in technology and how it can be used to make life better, while also ensuring that it's not misused.
Mr. Anderson is a member of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity International where he served as International Justice and twice earned the Outstanding District Justice Award. He is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Supreme Court Bar Association. Throughout his career, he has served as an officer for the Tulsa Jaycees, his local Boy Scout Troop Committee, and numerous political organizations throughout the country. He is the recipient of three Chairman's Awards while working at Farm Credit Administration and a Secretary Farm Bill Appreciation Award while working at the Rural Utilities Service.
