After the completion of high school in 1978, Colleen M. Waller began working for Omega Title Company before moving to Texas where she would then work for University Title Company for eight years, followed by Lawyers Title Company for thirteen years, before acquiring her current position as an escrow officer.
Now preparing settlement statements for real estate closings, Ms. Waller handles manufactured home transactions as well.
"I am very much a people person and enjoy working with the public to make their buying or selling experience a great one," Ms. Waller said. "Being able to handle their needs in getting their closings done is a great feeling."
Ms. Waller has come a long way in the title industry over the years. She has done many continuous hours of webinars and seminars for real estate/commercial/transactions for title insurance and prides herself on continued education, noting that research is the key to success.
With plans to continue working for many more years in the title business, Ms. Waller enjoys meeting new people and constantly challenging herself to great work. She has served on various boards in the past, including as committee member with the Bryan/College Station Association of Realtor and the Bryan/College Station Homebuilders. She has also earned recognition awards and certificates from the Texas Land and Title Association for her great work over the years.
