Covington Who's Who Selects Chett K. Winchell as an Executive Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Winchell, who holds a BS in Transportation Logistics from the University of Tennessee, is a Certified Safety Director, is Certified in Transportation and Logistics, and is also a Certified Tractor Trailer Driver Training Director.
Boasting over twenty seven years in trucking safety, Winchell began his career as a training manager for a six hundred truck refrigerated fleet in Indiana. He later served as a training manager in Colorado, as a training and safety manager, as director of safety for a one hundred thirty truck dry van fleet, as a yard manager for an insurance automotive recycling company, as a terminal manager for a flat bed company, as director of safety and recruiting for a small flatbed company, and finally as a general fleet safety consultant.
Now consulting with clients for his own company, Winchell maintains USDOT compliance for his clients and advises them on state and federal safety regulations in the forty-eight states they operate in. He also oversees all safety trucking transportation, does driver evaluations, hires new drivers, does alcohol training, plus a host of other day to day responsibilities.
"I felt I could do better by assisting others with my experience," Winchell said about his decision to start his own business. "I am constantly trying to learn more and be able to better assist clients with their needs."
Having served in the Navy Seabees for twenty-six years, Winchell was constantly exposed to safety. He earned his 9502 instructor license and became a licensed examiner for a military base in Pennsylvania. He was affiliated as an instructor through American Automobile Association and has over one million miles of commercial road driving experience. Winchell has attended numerous safety seminars and is affiliated with numerous organizations, including the North American Transportation Management Institute, Drug Techs, LLC, Colorado Motor Carriers Association, American Society of Transportation and Logistics, and Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity.
