Covington Who's Who Selects Cheryl A. Becigneul as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) January 26, 2015 - Cheryl A. Becigneul, Founder and Executive Director of Macomb Feeding the Need, has been selected as an Honored of the Year Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry.
Cheryl A. Becigneul founded Macomb Feeding the Need not-for-profit organization in 2012 as a way to give back to the community. In 2014 alone, they fed 4,154 people, clothed 1,373 people, diapered 1,300 children, and got 15 families off the streets and into warm homes. Working to reach even more families this year, Macomb Feeding the Need is making great strides.
"I believe the word of God that states we need to take care of our brother; it's a responsibility we all take to heart. No man, woman, or child should go hungry in a country as rich as America is," Ms. Becigneul said about her decision to open her non-profit.
With a motto of 'Feeding the needs of the community, mind, body, and soul', Macomb Feeding the Need also serves a community meal twice per week, every Tuesday and Friday at 12 noon, at Roseville Masonic Hall in Roseville, Michigan and They cook meals to celebrate major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Volunteers and donations are always encouraged to support the many needs of the organization as well.
Ms. Becigneul holds an AS in Nursing from Saginaw Valley State University and is a member of the Michigan Bankers Association and Macomb Homeless Coalition.
