Covington Who's Who Selects Carol L. Forlano as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry
Carol L. Forlano, Special Education Teacher for New Brunswick Board of Education, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Carol L. Forlano's commitment to excellence in Education.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2013 - Carol L. Forlano, who earned her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Pre-K to 8th grade from Monmouth University, has been working in education since 1987.
Beginning her career at St. Mary's School as an elementary teacher, Ms. Forlano accepted a position in special education in 1992 for New Brunswick Public School System. Now educating students in a resource setting, usually in the area of language art literacy, she also helps to develop their IEP's and how to behave appropriately in public.
Noting that she continuously keeps up with different learning styles to differentiate lessons Ms. Forlano said, "I had great teachers as a child. My aunt was a teacher of language arts and during holidays I loved helping her grade papers."
While many teachers hope to advance into supervision or administration, Ms. Forlano plans to continue teaching and to stay in the classroom instead. She is an active member with AVID and is also a site member.
