Covington Who's Who Selects Bradley M. Rushing as an Honored Member of the Executive and Professional Registry

Rushing, Senior Pastor with Mount Gilead Baptist Church, has been selected as an Honored Member of the Covington Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry. The selection recognizes Bradley M. Rushing's commitment to excellence in Religion and Religious Services.
After earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mathematics from Mississippi College in 1996, Bradley M. Rushing decided he wanted to go into a different direction by furthering his education in religious studies. He went on to earn a Master's of Divinity, a Master's of Theology, followed by a PhD in Homiletics from 2002-2006, all from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor with his current church, Rushing spent time pastoring three other churches in Mississippi and Louisiana. He's also taught in various capacities, including as a high school mathematics teacher from 1996-97, as an adjunct professor of preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004, and now teaches at Birmingham Theological Seminary as an instructor, The Baptist College of Florida as an adjunct professor, and again at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Extension as an adjunct professor.
"I want to display Christ Jesus as my greatest treasure and lead others to taste and see that the Lord is good," Rushing said.
Rushing became licensed in 1996 and ordained in 1999. He is married with three children and spends his free time raising his children, coaching his son's baseball team, running, playing golf, reading, watching college football, and hunting.
