Shell, who owns and operates an international manufacturing company of firearm ammunition, has been in business for forty years. His one-man operation, where he makes and sells obsolete and antique gun ammunition, began as a part-time affair.
His primary business, however, is in writing. Shell writes for various magazines in the business, both nationally and internationally. He also writes for numerous websites and gives his expert advice to book authors that need his help when writing novels or non-fiction books.
"I have always had a liking for history and guns," Shell said. "My job is forever challenging, and I am constantly inspired by that."
